Illions Gold-Mane horse

Illions Gold-Maned Horse

A copy of an M.C. Illions horse.

This piece is heavily accented with 24kt gold, and came with different base configurations. It came with an oak music-box base and a brass clawfoot base. The piece is large, about 13" to the top of the pole. The coin inset into the base shows the total run of this piece to be 2500 for the clawfoot base, and 5000 for the music-box base. The music-box on this piece plays the song "Camelot". This is a hard-to-photograph horse, but it is quite beautiful when seen in person.

The average price of this piece when new was $125-$200.
