I have seen these horses done with one of three bases...either an oak music-box base, a brass rectangular base (like
a Willitts Group II), or a canopy-frame base (where there are two brass poles supporting a porcelain rounding board structure,
with the horse between the two poles and under the canopy).
This series is retired.
I am not sure what these pieces cost when new.
