Galloper by Looff, sometimes called the "Cornucopia Horse"

This is a First Edition Tobin Fraley piece, produced in 1987.  This piece came with different base configurations.   It was offered with a brass clawfoot base, an oak music-box base, and a Wurlitzer backdrop music-box base.  The piece is large, about 13" to the top of the pole.  The total run for the clawfoot and oak bases were 9500 each, and for the Wurlitzer was 4500.

The average price of this piece when new was $125-$200 (except for the Wurlitzer variant which was significantly more, $450-$600).
