Looff Stander - "Hawk"

This is a copy of a Looff stander.

This piece stands approximately 12" to the top of the pole, and it is fully retired - well, with a sort of exception. That name is retired, but the horse itself really isn't. A model very much like it (with different color paint/jewels) is being currently sold as "Falcon", and yet another like it appears on a set of older PJ's postcards as "Crescent Park" from the PJ's "park" collection (the horses are named for the theme park where the original horse exists/existed, rather than being given a name like 'Hawk'). However, "Hawk" should always be the color shown in the picture above, and is fully retired under that name.

The average price of this piece when new was probably around $250.
