I'm not sure what carver's work this is supposed to represent, but the head and leg position suggest Parker or possibly
Herschell.
This piece came with different base configurations, most commonly with an oval brass base though other combinations were
likely also produced. The piece is about 7-8" to the top of the pole. There is usually no coin set into the bases of
these.
The average price of this piece when new was $40-$65.
