Not sure what carver this horse is a copy of.
This piece probably came with different base configurations. I
have personally only seen it with a brass clawfoot base, but like most Willitts it probably came with a music-box base also.
The piece is large, about 13" to the top of the pole. The coin inset into the base shows only a number, but not the total
run of the piece (it only says "150" for example, not "150/2500").
The average price of this piece when new was probably
$125-$200.
